about me

I’m a second-generation Korean American living on the East Coast. I’m in my early 30s, having spent most of my 20s working in the tech startup ecosystem in various strategy and operations focused roles. After getting laid off from my last startup job in 2022, I took an 18-month mini retirement, during which I traveled to Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand. While traveling, I learned everything I could about trading and investing and decided to take a bet on myself and became a full-time investor starting in 2024.

My hobbies include pottery, traveling, volunteering (currently as an end-of-life hospice doula), and spending time in nature. Since I left the corporate world, I’ve been on four 3+ month long international trips.
